Burglary Suspects Arrested: Eden Prairie Blotter

The Eden Prairie Police Department sent out a crime alert warning homeowners to be aware of recent burglaries in the area.

On Tuesday, April 9, at 11:25 a.m., the Eden Prairie Police Department sent out a crime alert, warning homeowners to be aware of recent burglaries in the area.

The front door of a home was forced open on the 10000 block of Sonoma Ridge, but nothing was stolen.

A half-hour earlier, Eden Prairie Police were notified of suspicious activity near this same vicinity at the intersection of Bluff Road and Estate Drive.

Since March 24, three residential burglaries have taken place in Eden Prairie where the front doors of the houses were forced open and jewelry was stolen.

On April 9, there was also a burglary reported on the 11000 block of Lexington sometime between the hours of 7:45 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. The 40-year-old homeowner came home to find the front door ajar. Items missing and their values include an iPod ($30), DVDs ($50), jewelry ($400), camera ($100), cell phone ($100), Kindle Fire ($250) and a Dell laptop ($1,200).

Eden Prairie Police believe two women who have been arrested in a neighboring community may be responsible for the burglaries.
