That means the moon will be only 221,824 miles away from us.EarthSky says the <a href="http://earthsky.org/tonight/is-biggest-and-closest-full-moon-on-june-23-2013-a-supermoon" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Supermoon</a> was officially full at 6:32 a.m. CDT Sunday, with the actual <a href="http://astronomy.com/en/News-Observing/Sky%20this%20Week/2013/06/JUN14-JUN23.aspx" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">perigee</a> about 20 minutes earlier, according to Astronomy, and it was full the evening of Sunday, June 23, 2013. EarthSky says this is the closest the <a href="http://earthsky.org/tonight/is-biggest-and-closest-full-moon-on-june-23-2013-a-supermoon" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">moon</a> will be to Earth until Aug. 10, 2014.
