Highway 212 Open House Takes Place Nov. 14

Residents and business owners can find out about plans for the corridor between Carver and Norwood Young America.

Residents and business owners around Highway 212 can learn about plans for the road at an open house Nov. 14 in Roseville.

The open house will allow attendees to discuss the access management, safety and phasing plan currently underway for Highway 212 between the cities of Carver and Norwood Young America, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

The open house—the first public meeting about the study—offers a chance for the public to review and provide input on strategies for making improvements along the corridor. Project representatives from Carver County and MnDOT will be available to answer questions.

The open house will follow the Southwest Corridor Transportation Coalition’s town hall meeting. Both the Town Hall and the open house will take place at the Chaska Community Center (1661 Park Ridge Dr.). The town hall starts at 5:30 p.m. the Highway 212 open house runs from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. A formal presentation begins at 6:30 p.m.
