Burglary of Dwelling

• A 34-year-old Eden Prairie woman reported that $900 cash was stolen on March 22 from her apartment on the 11,000 block of Westwind Drive. The money was mssing from the nightstand in her bedroom. She told police that she was positive that she had locked the door but returned home to the door unlocked. She also found an unfamiliar bottle of Mountain Dew in the fridge.

• On March 25 between 10-11:30 a.m., a man and woman, both 58 of Eden Prairie, told police that their home on the 10,000 block of Estate Drive had been broken into. The door had been kicked in, a footprint was found on the door and pry marks were found by the lock. Jewelry was tampered with in the bedroom and drawers had been opened in the bedroom. An iPad remained on a dresser, and nothing appeared to be taken.

Robbery

On March 28 just after 9 p.m., a 56-year-old Eden Prairie woman was using an ATM at Walmart, when witnesses say a black male grabbed her cash and fled, leaving in a 4-door car. The money amount was not known.
