Organizers selected four veterans from the community to tell their stories to the crowd. This year, three are WWII veterans and one is a Vietnam veteran.

"This year we have selected four of the finest veterans from our community with unparalleled service to our country of true heroism, selfless actions and dedication which we owe a debt of gratitude. Honoring their service on Memorial Day is small token of appreciation in comparison to their amazing sacrifices."
