Two Eden Prairie men are charged with robbery after allegedly attacking a man in his Eden Prairie apartment building. Abdirizak Abdirshiad Mahamed, 22, and Abdiwali Abdirashid Mahamed, 24, are both charged with one count of felony simple robbery. On May 13, Eden Prairie Police arrived at an Eden Prairie apartment complex on a report of a robbery. The victim told police that two men had followed him inside the building, and in the hallway he was attacked by them. He said he was punched and threatened with a black handgun before they reached into his pocket and stole $300 and a cell phone. Police arrested Mahamed and Mahamed nearby but were unable to locate the handgun, the money or the cell phone.
