12 EHS Students Named National Merit Scholarship Finalists

The same dozen students who were semifinalists back in September are now among 15,000 finalists for $32 million in scholarships.

A dozen Edina High School students have advanced to the finals of the 58th annual National Merit Scholarship Program.

The list of semifinalists was released earlier this month, outlining the students still in the running for 8,300 National Merit Scholarships—worth more than $32 million—set to be awarded this spring.

The same 12 EHS students were named semifinalists last September. They are now among approximately 15,000 finalists, with more than half of those finalists ultimately winning a National Merit Scholarship.
