Lilja Inc. Names Linda Tedford Vice President

Lilja Inc., a communications company based in the Twin Cities, has recently named Edina resident Linda Tedford as vice president. In this newly created role, Tedford will oversee business development and provide communication consulting to nonprofit and foundation clients. She also will focus on the growth of Lilja LifeStories, which helps individuals and businesses record and share their stories.

Tedford brings a 25-year career in major and planned gift fundraising to Lilja as the firm seeks to broaden its service to nonprofits and increase its work in the area of legacy stories. Most recently, Tedford served as vice president for the Ebenezer Foundation and senior development officer for the Fairview Foundation. She also has worked in planned giving at Carleton College, the University of Chicago and The Minneapolis Foundation.

Tedford received her bachelor's degree from Carleton College in Northfield, Minn., and her J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School. She has been a member of the Society for Arts in Healthcare, Minnesota Creative Arts and Aging Network, Aging Services of Minnesota, Minnesota Planned Giving Council and the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy.
