Bad Samaritan Steals Car from Good Samaritan Church Parking Lot

Monday, Sept. 30

- A $650 iPad was stolen from a home on the 5100 block of Vernon Ave.
- A $200 phone was stolen from a Southdale restroom.

Tuesday, Oct. 1

- A 63-year-old Edina woman was arrested for stealing about $30 of merchandise from the York Avenue Target.

Wednesday, Oct. 2

- A 39-year-old Minneapolis woman was cited for shoplifting $76 of merchandise from Lund's.
- A 37-year-old Minneapolis woman was cited for shoplifting $23 of clothes from the Southdale JC Penney's.
- A 2005 Ford Explorer was stolen from the Good Samaritan United Methodist Church parking lot.

Thursday, Oct. 3

- $13 in cash was stolen from a car on the 5900 block of Concord Ave.
- Sports equipment and tools worth $730 were stolen from a garage on the 6200 block of Peacedale Ave.

Friday, Oct. 4

- A 19-year-old Edina man was cited for drinking and driving on the 6300 block of Xerxes Ave.

Sunday, Oct. 6

- A 36-year-old man from Fayetteville, Ga., was arrested for driving while intoxicated near the intersection of Hwy 100 and 66th Street.
