A total of 14 skaters with Edina's Braemar City of Lakes Figure Skating Club will be competing this weekend at the 2013 Minnesota State Figure Skating Championships.
Known as the “Great Minnesota State Skate Together,” the 34th annual competition is presented by the Twin City Figure Skating Association and hosted by the Bloomington Figure Skating Club. It runs from Aug. 17-19 at the Bloomington Ice Garden.
Considering the Edina-based club has more than 100 active members, the 14 qualifiers represent more than 10 percent of its membership.
