A local expert in the field of Russian Art will be offering a free history lesson at the Edina Art Center on Monday, Nov. 19. Carol Veldman Rudie, expert docent with The Museum of Russian Art in Minneapolis, will take part in a guest lecture in Edina from 1-3 p.m. Rudie has a PhD in Russian Art History and will share some of her knowledge on the topic. The event is free and open to the public, with no registration required ahead of time. Additional information on the guest lecture can be obtained by calling the Edina Art Center at 952-903-5780. The Edina Art Center is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Fridays and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays.
