Edina Dancers Competing in State Fair Talent Contest

The girls are semifinalists in the Pre-teen Division of the Talent Contest, and will dance Wednesday night at the Minnesota State Fair.

A group of young dancers with Edina's are taking part in the Amateur Talent Contest at the 2012 Minnesota State Fair.

The Starlites are among handful of competitors in the talent contest, and with all of the girls between six and seven years old, easily some of the youngest. Mary Sackett's daughter, Brianna, is one of the dancers who have been busy prepping for the contest.

"They're just excited to dance and have fun on the big stage," Sackett said. "It's a great group of kids and we're just happy they have made it this far."
