Edina Liquor's York Avenue store is going to try to create a few more scotch enthusiasts later this week. The municipal liquor store is opening its doors from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, to allow cutomers—over the age of 21, of course—to sample two of its best-selling scotches. Attendees can snag a taste of Balvenie 12-year (DoubleWood) as well as 14-year (Rum Cask) scotch whisky. While they're in the store, customers can also talk with experts about the adult beverages and perhaps pick up a few holiday gifts in the process.
