Edina Man Caught With Marijuana, Without Insurance
An unknown suspect also forced his way into a Normandale Court residence to steal an iPad valued at $700.

Monday, Oct. 1
- Police responded to the South Metro Public Safety Training Facility on a report of a found bicycle.
- Police responded to the 5000 block of Normandale Court on a report of burglary. An unknown person forced their way into a residence and stole an iPad valued at $700.
- Police responded to the 5700 block of Xerxes Avenue on a report of theft. An unknown person stole two bicycles valued at $450 from a residence. The same bicycles were later recovered in Minneapolis.
- Jack Gregory Selzler, 19, of Edina, was arrested for possession of marijuana and no insurance after a traffic stop in the 5300 block of Wilson Road.
- Police responded to the 5200 block of Edina Industrial Boulevard on a report of a domestic disturbance.
- Police responded to the 6200 block of Parkwood Road on a report of a domestic disturbance.
- Hashim Joseph Bossett, 35, of Minneapolis, was arrested for loitering and trespassing after officers made contact with him at Rue de France.

- Two teenage boys were cited for violations after they made contact with Edina Police in the 4400 block of Parklawn Court. A 17-year-old boy was cited for trespass and runaway. A 14-year-old boy was cited for trespass and a curfew violation.
- Police responded to the 5200 block of 56th Street on a report of a domestic disturbance.
- A 14-year-old boy and a 17-year-old boy were cited for damage to property at the Galleria Shopping Center. The teens reportedly lit fireworks in a garbage can, causing $50 in damage to the can.
Wednesday, Oct. 3
- Police responded to the 7400 block of York Avenue on a report of tamper with vehicle. A steering column of a vehicle was damaged in an attempt to steal the vehicle. The total damage was estimated at $860.
- Police responded to the 6700 block of Southdale Road on a report of burglary. A bicycle valued at $100 was reported stolen from a garage.
- Police responded to the 7100 block of York Avenue on a report of vehicle theft. A 1996 Dodge valued at $1,500 was reported stolen from a parking lot.
- Police responded to the 5900 block of Drew Avenue on a report of a found bicycle.
- Police responded to Edina High School on a report of theft. A cell phone and wallet valued at $235 in total were reported taken from a backpack in the locker room of the high school.

- Police responded to the 7300 block of Gallagher Drive on a report of property damage. Plants and lights valued at $100 were damaged on an outdoor balcony.
- Emigdio Luis Viveros, 56, of Fridley, was arrested for no insurance and driving after revocation after his vehicle was stopped on Hwy. 169.
- A 17-year-old boy was arrested for making terroristic threats after posting threatening messages regarding Edina High School on the Internet.
