Edina Obamaniacs Hosting Democratic Convention 'Watch Parties'
Folks looking to watch Obama's acceptance speech with fellow Democrats can attend a number of local parties.

Across Minnesota tonight, Sept. 6, Democrats are holding more than 100 Democratic National Convention viewing parties.
Volunteers will gather to watch President Barack Obama's speech, as he accepts his party's official nomination for the 2012 election. Among those parties, at least one is being held right here in Edina.
"Team Edina" is gathering at the home of LuAnne Speeter (7128 Valley View Road) to watch Obama accept the nomination, "enjoy each other's company, and offer ways you can help make an impact on the election's outcomes."
