So long as winter weather continues to cooperate, Edina's outdoor ice skating rinks will remain open through Sunday, Mar. 3. The City announced the rinks—including Centennial Lakes Park—will be open for skating during regular hours past the traditional Feb. 20 closing date. Regular warming house hours are 4-9:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-9:30 p.m. Saturday and 1-8 p.m. on Sunday. On Monday, Feb. 18, and Tuesday, Feb. 19, the outdoor rinks will be open from noon to 9:30 p.m. Edina operates a total of 12 ice skating rinks, at the following parks: Arden, Cornelia School, Countryside, Creek Valley, Highlands, Lewis, Normandale, Pamela, Strachauer, Todd, Walnut Ridge and Weber. Additional information on ice skating rink conditions is available by calling the Parks &amp; Recreation Department's activity hotline at 952-826-0368.
