Edina School Board Candidates Talking at Tuesday Forum

Four seats are up for grabs in the Nov. 5 Edina School Board election. Learn about the candidates and make an informed vote.

The League of Women Voters is hosting a candidate forum on Tuesday for the nine aspirants to the Edina School Board.

The forum will run from 7 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. in the city council chamber. A video recording of the forum will be replayed on Edina Channel 16 and posted to the league's website.

Two incumbents, Randy Meyer and Regina Neville, will run alongside seven challengers. Meyer, Neville and Lonni Skrentner's seats are up for election, along with the seat vacated by Idith Almog in July, which Brian Hedberg currently occupies

Meyer and Neville's challengers are Danielle Mitchell Busby, Gayle Castro, Leonel Dorvil, David Goldsetin, Lisa O’Brien, Mark Sparano, and Vivien Talghader.
