Edina Students Largely Mirror Local Election Results
Students participating in Kids Voting Edina overwhelmingly supported Barack Obama and opposed the pair of constitutional amendments.
More than two thousand local youth took part in Kids Voting Edina 2012, casting mock ballots on Election Day.
The voting largely mirrored actual Election Day results, with students falling in line with local results on almost every race. The only major difference came in the race for Edina City Council, where students chose Chad Bell and Ann Swenson instead of re-electing Swenson and Mary Brindle.
