"Minnesota Nice?" Debut Screening

Minnesota Nice?, an anti-bullying documentary filmed by 2012  graduate Alec Fischer, will officially premiere at the  this Friday, June 29.

The documentary film will debut to the public at 6 p.m. at the 50th & France theater, with another screening slated for 7 p.m.

With only 260 seats available for each showing, tickets will be handed out at the door on a first come, first serve basis starting at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Tickets will be free, but donations will be accepted at both screenings and guests are encouraged to bring cash to donate.

The film focuses largely on gay, lesbian, bisexual and trangendered students who are bullied, primarily because of the number of recent suicides in Minnesota due to anti-gay bullying.
