Valley View Middle School will honor veterans of military service with student assembly programs on Friday, Nov. 11th that are also open to the public.
Two 30-minute programs will be held in the south gymnasium at Valley View Middle School, 6750 Valley View Road in Edina. The first assembly will be held 9:08 a.m. and the second one will be held at 9:50 a.m. Any veterans and their families are cordially invited to attend and be recognized.
The Valley View 9th grade singers and 8th grade band will be performing at both assemblies. Our guest speaker this year will be Paul W. Jensen, Captain, United States Navy. Captain Jensen is the Commanding Officer of Explosive Ordinance Disposal GROUP1 Reserve Component. Captain Jensen’s unit is based in Coronado, CA at the Amphibious Expeditionary Base. His unit provides support to active duty EOD units in the Pacific Ocean.

This is the 10th consecutive year that Valley View Middle School has organized a Veteran’s Day assembly for students and community members “Honoring All Who Served.”
