Filing Period Opens for Edina School Board
One incumbent has filed so far, according to the Sun Current.

The filing period for those interested in making a run for one of four school board seats opened Tuesday, and according to the Sun Current, incumbent Regina Neville has already filed for re-election.
Neville has been on the board since 2009. As previously reported by Patch, in addition to Neville's seat, those of Lonnie Skrentner, Brian Hedberg and board chair Randy Meyer are all up for election.
Prospective candidates can file their paperwork at the (5701 Normandale Road, Suite 200) through 5 p.m. on Aug. 13. There is a $2 fee to file.

To be eligible, candidates must:
- Be eligible to vote
- Be 21 years of age or more upon assuming office
- Have been a resident of the district for 30 days prior to the election
- Not be running for any other office during the same election
