Grand Theft Auto Reported in Galleria Parking Ramp
Edina Police also responded to a pair of thefts by swindle, totaling nearly $4,000.

Friday, Oct. 5
- Police responded to the 7200 block of France Avenue on a report of theft by swindle. An unknown suspect fraudulently used a credit card, with an estimated loss of $1,480.

- A 17-year-old male was issued a citation for a curfew violation near the intersection of 66th Street and West Shore Drive.
- Tarrell Keina Shipman, 30, of Sioux Falls, SD, was arrested for 4th Degree DWI after being pulled over near the intersection of Tracy Avenue and Hwy. 62.
- Police responded to the South Metro Public Safety Training Facility on a report of theft. A $600 cell phone was reported stolen.
- China Jeanann Sheley, 20, of Minneapolis, was arrested for shoplifting at Southdale Center. Sheley allegedly attempted to take $19 in clothing from an unidentified store without paying for it.
- Police responded to the 6400 block of Barrie Road on a report of theft by swindle. A victim reportedly deposited a fraudulent check, then wired $1,900 to an unknown person before discovering the check was bad.
- Shubhankar Marthur, 19, of Eden Prairie, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop near the intersection of France Avenue and 76th Street.
- Patrick Gabriel Brennaman, 19, of St. Paul, was arrested for possession of a small amount of marijuana after a traffic stop near the intersection of France Avenue and 76th Street.
- Police responded to the 5700 block of Grace Terrace on a report of a runaway juvenile.
- Police responded to the 6500 block of York Avenue on a report of a found cell phone.
Sunday, Oct. 7
- Brandon Matthew Zins, 26, of Bloomington, was arrested for 3rd Degree DWI after his vehicle was pulled over in the 4900 block of Eden Avenue.
- Police responded to the 4400 block of Parklawn Court on a report of a domestic disturbance.
- Police responded to the 5700 block of Grace Terrace on a report of a runaway juvenile.
- Police responded to Arden Park on a report of theft. Headphones valued at $214 were reportedly stolen by an unknown person from a backpack at the park.
- Police responded to the Galleria on a report of vehicle theft. A '94 Honda Accord valued at $2,000 was reportedly parked in a ramp near the shopping center when it was stolen. No suspect was identified.
