Local Legislators Hosting Pair of Town Halls
Sen. Melisa Franzen and Reps. Ron Erhardt and Paul Rosenthal will take part in town halls on Feb. 12 and 23.

Senate District 49 legislators are teaming up to host a pair of town hall meetings in February, aimed at giving constituents a chance to meet the politicians and discuss issues impacting both the district and state.
Sen. Melisa Franzen (DFL-Edina), Rep. Ron Erhardt (DFL-Edina) and Rep. Paul Rosenthal (DFL-Edina) will all be present for meetings on Feb. 12 and Feb. 23 in Bloomington and Edina, respectively. The Feb. 12 town hall will be held at 6 p.m. in the Bloomington Civic Plaza—1800 W. Old Shakopee Road—and the Feb. 23 is set for 10 a.m. at the Edina Community Center—5701 Normandale Road.
"I am excited to sit down with my constituents and get their points of view on the ideas we are talking about at the Capitol," Sen. Franzen said, in a release. "Following the governor's budget proposal, there is a lot to talk about and I am sure there will be many different opinions brought forward. Hearing from constituents is an important part of the political process and I encourage residents to join us to share their ideas."
