(MAP) How Did Edina Vote on Voter ID?

A precinct-by-precinct breakdown of how Edina residents voted on the voter ID amendment in 2012.

After putting together a precinct breakdown of how Edina voted regarding the Senate District 49 race, a few readers requested we put together similar breakdowns for other big Election Day contests.

You asked for it, so we processed unofficial election data into another color-coded map.

This one in particular shows how Edina precincts broke on the constitutional amendment regarding voter ID. While the majority of Edina voters opposed voter ID, several precincts did see the majority of voters support the constitutional amendment. In general, the western part of Edina—everything west of Hwy. 100—favored voter ID, while the eastern part of the city tended to oppose the amendment.
