Mini-Hops Gymnasts Launch 2012 Season in Style

It's been a busy season so far at Mini-Hops Gymanstics. Gymnasts from all over the Twins Cities competed this week for the first time this season. Here are the results:

Mini-Hops Gymnastics Level 4 Girls Team

On the Level 4 Team, the highest scorer was Sofia Campbell (7, Plymouth) scored 9.250 on vault, 8.250 on uneven bars, 8.900 on beam, and 8.100 on floor with an all-around score of 34.500. 

Reese Hauenstein (8, Maple Grove) scored 8.850 on vault, 8.925 on uneven bars, 8.250 on beam and 8.150 on floor with an all-around score of 34.175. Isabella Hayden (7, Maple Grove) scored 9.175 on vault, 8.400 on uneven bars, 7.150 on beam and 8.200 on floor with an all-around score of 32.925. Claire Hennen (8, Plymouth) scored 9.275 on vault 8.450 on uneven bars, 8.150 on beam and scratched on floor with an all-around score of 25.875. Anna McGrath (8, Plymouth) scored 9.000 on vault, 83475 on uneven bars, 8.150 on beam and 8.000 on floor with an all-around score of 33.625. Geanessa Reglos (8, Crystal) scored 9.150 on vault, 8.400 on uneven bars, 7.300 on beam and 7.850 on floor with an all-around score of 32.700, Mackenzie Watkins (7, Wayzata) scored 9.350 on vault, 8.825 on uneven bars, 7.250 on beam and 8.025 on floor with an all-around score of 33.450. Overall, the team placed 3rd for their level.

Mini-Hops Gymnastics Level 5 Girls Team 

On the Level 5 team, Isabella Bellini (9, Wayzata) scored 8.050 on vault, 8.250 on uneven bars, 7.700 on beam and 8.450 on floor with an all-around score of 32.450. 

Lauren Fishbein (10, Plymouth) scored 7.200 on vault, 7.900 on uneven bars, 8.000 on beam and 7.950 on floor with an all-around score of 31.050. Lucille Jensen (9, St. Louis Park) scored 7.150 on vault, 7.950 on uneven bars, 7.950 on beam and 7.850 on floor with an all-around score of 30.900, Kaija Pratt (10, Minnetonka ) scored 7.550 on vault, 7.800 on uneven bars, 7.400 on Beam and 8.050 on Floor with an all-around score of 30.800. Ruby Gruidl (10, Golden Valley) scored 7.400 on vault, 7.750 on uneven bars, 7.900 on beam and 7.650 on floor with an all-around score of 30.700. Brooke Dewing (11, Chanhassen), Gabrielle Pfieffer (11, Plymouth) scored 7.850 on vault, 6.450 on uneven bars, 8.000 on beam and 7.675 on floor with an all-around score of 29.975. 

Overall, the team placed 4th for their level.

MiniHops Gymnastics Level 6 Girls Team

On the Level 6 Team, Georgia Cleveland (11, Edina) scored 8.350 on vault, 7.700 on beam and 8.100 on floor with an all-around score of 25.150. 

Chelsea Landis (12, Mound) scored 8.400 on vault 8.700 on beam and 9.000 on floor with an all-around score of 26.100. Taylor Nelson (11, Wayzata) scored 8.500 on vault, 7.250 on beam, 7.750 on floor with an all-around score of 23.500. Avery Seesz (10, Plymouth) scored 7.950 on vault, 8.600 on beam and 7.970 on floor with an all-around score of 24.520. Lindsay Shermeta (11, Minnetonka) scored 7.250 on vault, 7.300 on beam and 7.600 on floor with an all-around score of 22.150. Sydney Willits (10, Minnetonka) scored 8.500 on vault, 7.850 on beam and 8.400 on floor with an all-around score of 24.750. Unfortunately the entire level 6 team had to scratch on the uneven bars which did not get them in a better team standing.

Even with a team score of 76.900, they acquired a 4th place team trophy.
