Nominations Sought for Connecting With Kids Leadership Awards

Connecting With Kids is seeking nominations for members of the Edina community who have had a powerful impact on the development of area youth.

The organization is preparing for its annual Leadership Breakfast on Friday, Feb. 22, which will honor individuals and organizations in Edina who have worked to build assets in our youth with Leadership Awards.

Individuals or groups nominated need to support the development of a community where children grow up to be responsible, healthy and caring adults. They do not need to be affiliated with Connecting With Kids, the City of Edina or Edina Public Schools, but nominees must have had a direct, positive impact on the youth of Edina.

Nominations are due no later than Sunday, Jan. 20. They can be submitted directly to info@connectingwithkidsedina.org.

To submit a nomination, include the following:

• Your name and contact information.
• The person or organization you are nominating, along with their contact information.
• The reason they should receive a Leadership Award from Connecting With Kids. 1000 word limit.

Winners will be chosen by the Connecting With Kids Advisory Council and will be notified prior to the annual Leadership Breakfast.
