Office Building Receives Threatening Voice Mails
Police also responded to several reports of theft and drug paraphernalia at Edina High School.

Monday, Sept. 24
- Police responded to the 6300 block of Post Lane on a report of theft from auto. The window of a vehicle was broken and a duffle bag valued at $180 was missing from the car. It was recovered approximately a half mile down the road from the scene of the theft.
- Police responded to Fairview Southdale Hospital on a report of someone fraudulently trying to obtain a controlled substance through a forged prescription.
- Police responded to Edina High School on a report of theft. A $250 cell phone was left lying on a table at the school, but was missing when the victim returned.
- Police responded to Edina Liquor on a report of theft. An unidentified suspect stole alcohol valued at $26.98 from the store.

- A citizen came in to the Edina Police Department to report a found bicycle.
- Police responded to Edina High School on a report of theft. A $450 cell phone was reported stolen from a student's backpack by an unknown person.
Wednesday, Sept. 26
- Police responded to Edina Tire & Auto on a report of burglary. A window was broken to gain entry into the business, but nothing was reported missing.
- Police responded to the 6500 block of York Avenue South on a report of theft. A purse valued at $165 was stolen from an office by an unidentified suspect.
- A 17-year-old boy was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia at Edina High School.
- Police responded to the 6000 block of Olinger Boulevard on a report of theft by swindle. The victim told police merchandise ordered online was never delivered.
- Police responded to LA Fitness on a report of theft. Two credit cards were reportedly stolen from a locker at the fitness center.
- Police responded to the Edina Community Center on a report of theft. A $150 cell phone was stolen from a locker inside of the building.
- Police responded to the 6200 block of France Avenue on a report of property damage. The tires of a parked vehicle were damaged, at an estimated cost of $400.

- Police responded to the 6500 block of York Avenue South on a report of an unidentified suspect leaving threatening voice mails on an office phone.
- Police responded to the 6200 block of Parnell Avenue on a report of a threatening phone call.
- A 16-year-old girl was arrested for theft at Southdale Center. The teen was caught attempting to steal $50 in jewelry from a store.
- Police responded to the 4400 block of Parklawn Avenue on a report of a 17-year-old boy who ran away from home.
- Police responded to LA Fitness on a report of theft. Cash and credit cards valued at $100 were stolen from a locker at the fitness center.
- Police responded to Southdale Center on a report of theft. A $213 cell phone was reported stolen from a stroller at the mall.
