REMINDER: 'Bye Bye Birdie' Showing All Weekend at EHS

Theatergoers can catch the fall musical at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, with a matinee at 1 p.m. Saturday.

Looking for something fun to do this weekend? Head over to Edina High Schoolto catch the EHS Thespians' production of "Bye Bye Birdie" all weekend long.

The show takes place in the late 1950s, with teenagers across the U.S. in a frenzy over rock star Conrad Birdie. When Birdie gets his draft notice, his manager decides to attempt a farewell party for the rocker on the Ed Sullivan Show, during which he is to kiss one lucky fan.

The satirical show features songs like "Put on a Happy Face," "One Boy" and "Kids," among numerous others.

Those dates are as follows:

  • 7 p.m. on Friday-Saturday, Nov. 9-10
  • 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10

Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for students. Reserved seating tickets are $12.
