REMINDER: Hennepin County Libraries Closed on Thanksgiving

Libraries will be open their regular hours on Friday, Nov. 23.

Bookworms looking for a good read after a hefty helping of turkey and pumpkin pie should head to the library early this week, as all Hennepin County Libraries will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.

That includes the system's two Edina branches, the Southdale Library and Edina Community Library.

All Hennepin County Libraries will be open their regular hours on Friday, Nov. 23, and the remainder of the weekend. Library hours and locations can be found here. That means 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday for the Edina Community Library. As for the Southdale branch, hours will be 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.
