Richfield Man Arrested for Assault at Super Target

Friday, Aug. 3

• Police responded to the 5800 block of Zenith Avenue South on a report of theft. An unknown person stole a radio/vehicle control console valued at $400 from an unlocked car.
• Police responded to the 4100 block of Parklawn Avenue on a report of theft. An unknown person stole a Dodge Caravan valued at $2,500.
• Police responded to the 5900 block of Abbott Avenue South on a report of theft. An unknown person entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a DVD player valued at $1,000.
• Police responded to the 5600 block of Abbott Avenue South on a report of possible identity theft.
• Police responded to the 5500 block of Wooddale Avenue on a report of theft. An unknown person stole a credit card valued at $1 from a victim's purse.
• Police responded to the 6700 block of Cahill Road on a report of possible identity theft.
• A 12-year-old boy was arrested for property damage after a victim witnessed him break the mirror on a parked vehicle in the 6800 block of Cornelia Drive.
• A 40-year-old Minneapolis man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana after his vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation in the 3800 block of West 46th Street.
• Police responded to the 500 block of John Street on a report of financial transaction card fraud.

Saturday, Aug. 4

• Police responded to the 5500 block of Glengarry Parkway on a report of burglary. An unknown person entered a residence through an unlocked door and stole two computer bags, credit cards, computers, a wallet, cash and jewelry valued at $7,863 in total.
• Police responded to the 5000 block of Bedford Avenue on a report of property damage. An unknown person reportedly put scratch marks in the paint of a parked vehicle.
• A 32-year-old Fridley man was arrested for 4th degree DWI after police stopped his vehicle for a traffic violation in the 5400 block of northbound Hwy. 100.
• A 16-year-old boy was arrested for trespassing at .

Sunday, Aug. 5

• An 18-year-old Eden Prairie man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana after his vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation in the 5100 block of West 76th Street.
• Police responded to the 3500 block of Hazelton Road on a report of a found vehicle.
• A 23-year-old Richfield man was arrested for assault. Officers were dispatched to on a report of a person with a gun. They subsequently arrested the man for assault.
• Police responded to the 4500 block of Golf Terrace on a report of property damage. An unknown person broke a window on a residence.
