A 52-year-old Edina man passed away Sunday following a tragic accident in the St. Croix River near Taylors Falls, MN. Steven Richard Labarron was reportedly pulling a dock out of the river near a steep bank at 11:38 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, when it disconnected from a rope and struck him in the head. The Chisago County Sheriff's Department said Labarron then fell into the water, where he drowned. Authorities responded to the site of the accident, where they immediately started performing CPR on Labarron.
