Teenagers Caught Drinking, Carrying Marijuana at Noisy House Party

Two catalytic converters valued at $1,500 were also cut from a vehicle parked on Ohms Lane.

Monday, Aug. 6

  • Police responded to the 5700 block of Newport Drive on a report of an unidentified male rummaging through a vehicle.
  • Police responded to the 5800 block of Kemrich Drive on a report of possible identity theft.
  • Police responded to Pivotal Real Estate on a report of attempted burglary. An unknown person tried to forcibly enter the business, but was unable to get inside.
  • Police responded to the 4200 block of West 50th Street on a report of a disturbance.

  • Police responded to the 5700 block of Kemrich Drive on a report of a violation of a protection order.
  • Police responded to the 5400 block of Dewey Hill Road on a report of property damage. An unknown person reportedly scratched the paint on a parked vehicle.
  • Police responded to the 6200 block of Interlachen Boulevard on a report of check forgery.
  • Police responded to the 4400 block of Parklawn Avenue on a report of a runaway child. 

Wednesday, Aug. 8

  • Police responded to the 7100 block of Ohms Lane on a report of theft. An unknown person reportedly cut two catalytic converters off of a parked vehicle. The stolen items were valued at $1,500.
  • Police responded to the 6400 block of Barrie Road on a report of a found gun.
  • Police responded to the 5900 block of Ewing Avenue South on a report of theft. An unknown person stole a watch, cash, sunglasses and medication valued at $2,425 from a residence.
  • Police responded to the 300 block of on a report of suspicious activity.

  • A 15-year-old girl was arrested for a small amount of marijuana and a curfew violation after officers found her while investigating a noise complaint in the 4400 block of Parklawn Court.
  • A 16-year-old boy was arrested for underage consumption after officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the 4400 block of Parklawn Court.
  • Police responded to the intersection of Valley View Road and Hwy. 169 on a report of theft. An unknown person stole a jack tamper valued at $1,001 from a construction trailer.
  • Police responded to the 5200 block of Interlachen Boulevard on a report of a found wallet.
  • Police responded to the 5500 block of Hillside Court on a report of found traffic signs.
  • Police responded to the 7000 block of York Avenue South on a report of two found bicycles.
  • An 18-year-old Bloomington woman was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, and possession of a controlled substance after the vehicle she was driving was stopped for speeding in the 6800 block of southbound Hwy. 100.
