It's Valentine's Day again, which means it's time to plan a date night full of fun and romance to show your sweetie how much you care. Patch has rounded up the best Valentine's Day date night options Edina has to offer.
If your idea of a perfect Valentine's Day date involves wining and dining, you're in luck. Many area restaurants are offering prix fixe menus (one meal offered at a fixed price) this Valentine's Day.
, located at the , will be serving a special four-course meal for $79 per couple. Diners can choose oysters or baked brie, followed by a mixed green salad or potato chowder. Dinner includes a surf & turf combination of bacon-wrapped beef medallions, broiled lobster tail, a mashed potato trio and grilled asparagus. The meal is capped off with a milk chocolate mousse torte, complete with a stawberry compote and chocolate glaze. Couples can toast their love with a glass ($6.95) or bottle ($29) of Sweet by Astoria Lounge. Tables for two are still available for Tuesday night.

Guests at (6740 France Ave. S.) can also enjoy a four-course dinner for two for $50 per couple, with champagne included. Couples can pick from any two entrees, enjoy soup or a dinner salad and split both an appetizer and dessert of their choosing. The offer runs from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 14. In case you were wondering, Tavern on France is indeed taking reservations.
(5028 France Ave.) is spreading the love over three days this weekend. On Saturday, Sunday and Monday, will be serving up a three course menu for $25, which includes a glass of house wine. Guests will enjoy a smoked salmon salad, choice of steak frite or fettucine with shrimp and a chocolate creme custard for dessert. Reservations are not needed.

Like to chase your dinner with a movie? Grab your sweetie and head over to the historic for a screening of The Artist or Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. Both films are up for Oscars this year, with The Artist among the nominees for best picture. You can find showtimes here.

The city's Transportation Commission is working on a draft Living Streets policy and implementation plan, working with the community to develop both.
