Woman Robbed After Giving Man Car Ride to Edina
Two unidentified females also managed to steal $200 in merchandise from the Edina Old Navy store.

Thursday, July 26
- A 28-year-old Eden Prairie man was arrested for 3rd degree DWI after his vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation near the intersection of Vernon Avenue and Interlachen Boulevard.
- Police responded to the 3300 block of West 66th Street on a report of a robbery. The woman told officers she picked up a male suspect in Minneapolis and drove him to Edina. When she stopped in Edina, she claims the man grabbed her wallet and car key sand ran from the scene. No suspect was located, according to police. The stolen items were valued at $40 in total.
- Police responded to on a report of property damage. An unknown person reportedly damaged a slide at the park.
- Police responded to the 6500 block of France Avenue South on a report of theft. An unknown person reportedly stole $4,500 in property from a residence.
- Police responded to the 7100 block of Cahill Road on a report of a verbal domestic.
- Police responded to on a report of theft. An unknown person forcibly entered a parked car and stole a wallet and contents valued at $109.
- Police responded to the on Interlachen Boulevard on a report of theft. An unidentified female put $52.88 worth of gas in her vehicle, then left the station without paying for it.

- Police responded to the 5300 block of West 70th Street on a report of property damage. An unknown person reportedly damaged a fence at Excel Energy.
- Police responded to the 400 block of Jefferson Avenue South on a report of a suspicious person.
Saturday, July 28
- A 54-year-old man was arrested for violating an order for protection.
- A 15-year-old boy was arrested for theft after attempting to steal $15 sunglasses from the store at Southdale Center.
- Police responded to the 6500 block of Sherwood Avenue on a report of suspicious activity.
- Police responded to the 7100 block of Valley View Road on a report of a violation of an order for protection.
- Police responded to on a report of theft. An unknown person reportedly stole a purse and its contents valued at $129 from a victim's vehicle while it was parked outside of the store.
