A substantial number of locals took part in the Southdale YMCA's "Unofficial 5Kish Turkey Trot" last Thursday, burning off some calories before partaking in Thanksgiving festivities. The route for runners and/or walkers started at the Y, then wound through the nearby Centennial Lakes Park.  The local YMCA also hosted some post-Thanksgiving programs for members, including a four-hour cycling session and a Turkey Dance Off.
