PB&J Malts, Deep Fried Olives, Candied Bacon Cannoli-New Foods at 2013 Minnesota State Fair
This year the Fair is featuring 47 new foods, including candied bacon cannoli.
Deep fried olives, taco sliders and peanut butter and jelly malts and shakes will be among 47 new foods at the 2013 Minnesota State Fair, according to fair officials.
The list of new food fare at the Fair also includes candied bacon cannoli, the creation of Roseville's Pam Olson and daughter Marta Lindsey. The mother-daughter duo will be in their second year running Ole's Cannoli, an Italian dessert food stand at Heritage Square at the State Fairgrounds. A few of the other new foods at the Fair are: chocolate chili ice cream, English Toffee fudge puppy, grilled glazed donut, pork belly sliders, and bourbon wurst.The 2013 Minnesota State Fair is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 22 through Monday Sept. 2 (Labor Day).
