Cancer Support Groups in Golden Valley

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Golden Valley is home to many cancer support groups.

Here's a listing:

• Calvary Lutheran Church: Third Tuesday of the month, 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., Room N211. Led by Pastor Skip Reeves 
• North Memorial Hospital: various support and educational services offered by the Humphrey Cancer Center. Call call (763) 520-5155 for more information.
• Courage Center: Through partner camps, Courage Center gives support to children with cancer.
• Cancer Therapists: a listing of local cancer therapists who can offer support and help.
