The Golden Valley Human Rights Commission (HRC) is accepting nominations for the 2021 Bill Hobbs Human Rights Award. The award recognizes members in the Golden Valley community who work to build an environment promoting fair and equal treatment for everyone. The deadline to nominate is Sept 30, 2021, 4:30 pm.

Earlier this year local activists Helene Johnson and Peter Knaeble received 2020 Bill Hobbs Human Rights Awards for her support and promotion of human rights education through the creation of Sweet Potato Comfort Pies: A Catalyst for Caring and Building Community.
