City Of Golden Valley: Run The Valley Will Feature A Flag Raising Sept 11, 7:30 AM

The 2021 Run The Valley is Sat, Sept 11. This year’s event will begin with a moment of silence and flag raising by the Golden Valley Fire Department to honor the 20th anniversary of the Sept 11 attacks.

The morning will kick off at 7:45 am with a 0.2K Kids Fun Run. The 10K race begins at 8 am, followed by the 5K race at 8:10 am and the 5K walk at 8:15 am. Starting and finishing is near the Brookview entrance (316 Brookview Parkway S), this certified course runs through residential Golden Valley. Water stops and post-race complimentary snacks are donated by area businesses.
