City Manager, Council Will Talk About Budget, Shutdown At Tuesday Meeting
Officials will talk about the effect the shutdown has had on electrical and plumbing projects in the city that require permits.

The Minnesota state shutdown has affected nonprofit organizations and the local food shelf. On Tuesday, city officials will talk about how it is affecting city projects.
In particular, the state reviews plans for commercial plumbing projects in the city, and state electrical inspectors check projects in the city that require a permit.
Mark Kuhnly, chief of fire and inspections, members of the City Council and City Manager Tom Burt will discuss which projects are affected.

Also during the meeting, heads of city departments will talk about the 2012-13 general fund budget.
The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Conference Room at City Hall.
