Drop Off Your Leaves in Golden Valley
Brookview Community Center is open for the fall leaf drop-off starting Saturday, Oct. 27.

Are you ready to get rid of the heaps of leaves in your yard?
From 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., Golden Valley residents can drop off their bags of leaves in Brookview Park.
The parkway will become a one-way road, and all traffic must enter on Winnetka Avenue and exit on Western Avenue, according to the City of Golden Valley's website.

Don't forget these reminders when it comes to the fall leaf drop-off:
- You must provide proof of Golden Valley residency (Minnesota driver's license, ID, or proof of identity and address).
- You must help de-bag your leaves at the site and take the bags home for reuse or disposal. This includes compostable bags, as the disposal site requires all leaves to be unbagged. No brush will be accepted.
- If you're hauling loose leaves, you have to help unload their leaves at the site.
If you're not ready to start raking yet, there are three other days that you can dispose of your leaves: Nov. 2, Nov. 3 and Nov. 10.Β
