Former Hopkins Assistant Coach to Head Bismarck Basketball Program

Longtime Hopkins assistant boys basketball and football coach Brent De Kok has fulfilled his dream of becoming a head coach.

St. Mary’s Central High School in Bismarck, ND, selected De Kok as the next head coach for the Saints’ boys’ basketball team, The Bismarck Tribune reported. 

De Kok was at Hopkins seven years and has been at St. Mary’s for two years. He’s moving up to replace former head coach Joe Mueller, who became the basketball coach at Bismarck State.
