At these clinics, district students aged 5 years and older, and any member of the community, will be eligible to receive their first or second dose, or booster of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. Students and children aged 5 and older must have a completed parent consent form. A second clinic will be held Wednesday, Dec. 12, for those needing their second dose of the COVID vaccine. More details on specific dates and times will be shared at a later time.

The mini-clinics will take place during the school day with minimum disruption to learning, with one evening session at Robbinsdale Middle School. Students, adults and other members of the community visiting the clinic will need to check in at the school’s main office.

Students or community members who are aged 18 or older do not need parental consent to be vaccinated but need to sign a consent form themselves.

  • Vaccines will NOT be given to students who do not have a signed consent form.
  • Individuals MUST be at least 5 years old on the day of their vaccination.
  • Important to know

  • The clinics will provide the Pfizer vaccine only, which has been approved for people who are age 5 or older.
  • Second doses of the Pfizer vaccine can be administered 21 days (3 weeks) after the first dose.
  • COVID-19 vaccination is free and does not require insurance.
  • People with a severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis) to any vaccine or injectable (intramuscular or intravenous) medication OR any component of the COVID-19 vaccine should consult with their health provider to assess risk prior to receiving the COVID-19 vaccine. Everyone else with severe allergic reactions to foods, oral medications, latex, pets, insects, and environmental triggers may get vaccinated.
  • People should not attend a vaccination clinic if:
    • They have had COVID-19 within the past 14 days.
    • They have any symptoms of COVID-19.
    • They are currently in quarantine due to close contact exposure.
  • We encourage you to visit the Minnesota Department of Health website for more information on COVID-19 vaccines, or check out the CDC’s vaccine question and answer webpage.
