We appreciate your flexibility and partnership as we temporarily shift to distance learning. Your student will join class virtually each morning next week (Jan 18-21) at 9:20 a.m. for a morning meeting by doing the following on their device:

  • Chromebook

  • Click the box: enter a code or nickname

  • Enter class meeting code

  • Specialist Classes will occur following their normal schedule based upon the 5 day cycle. Classroom teachers will communicate the daily schedule with students and families via Seesaw or Schoology and review the day’s schedule during morning meetings. Attached is the specialist schedule by each day. 

  • Students who receive special services (e.g. Special education, EL) will receive additional information from service providers.

    Meal Information: 4-Day Meal Pick Up Sites and Times for the Week of January 18-21

    The three locations below are the closest to our immediate community. 

     

    Sandburg Middle School (2400 Sandburg Lane, Golden Valley, MN 55427)

    Tuesday-Friday, daily from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and Wednesday 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the rear of the building at Door 20.

     

    Robbinsdale Middle School (3730 Toledo Avenue N, Robbinsdale, MN 55422)

    Tuesday-Friday, daily from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Door 16 located at the back of the building closest to Regent Ave.

     

    Lakeview Elementary (4110 Lake Drive Robbinsdale, MN 55422)

    Tuesday-Friday, daily from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and Wednesday 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the main entrance.

     

    Attendance

    While students are working remotely, attendance is still required. Teachers will be taking attendance daily during morning meetings. If the student is not present during the morning meeting, they will be marked as absent. If the student joins a class or meeting later in the day, their attendance will be changed to present. 

    Devices

    Most students brought their device and charger home yesterday. If your student was absent, devices and any necessary materials are available for pick up at school. Staff will be available on Friday and Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. to provide devices to any families as needed. Please be sure to pull up to the front of the school and call the front office at 763-504-4000 and someone will bring the materials out to you.

    In the event your student shows symptoms or tests positive, our COVID reporting form can be accessed on the district website. For additional information, please review the district’s COVID exposure document.
