Twin Cities Road Rage Incident Leaves 1 Dead, Several In Custody

Police say multiple people were detained after a late-night road rage confrontation that left one man dead.

GOLDEN VALLEY, MN — A man is dead and several people are in custody after a road rage incident late Friday night in Golden Valley, according to police.

The confrontation began on Highway 100 and escalated near the Duluth Street intersection just before midnight.

Emergency crews tried to save the victim, but he later died at the hospital. Multiple people involved, including suspects and witnesses, were taken to North Memorial for evaluation.

Golden Valley police are investigating the case with help from the Hennepin County Crime Lab and the Minnesota State Patrol’s crash reconstruction team. Investigators say they’ve identified everyone involved and believe there’s no ongoing threat to the public.
