Car Care for Gals, Farm Fresh Goods for All Thursday in Inver Grove Heights

The 2013 Farmers Market is in full swing, with sweet corn hitting its peak right now in the state
Inver Grove Heights invites everyon each Thursday to come purchase fresh and locally grown fruits, vegetables, seasoning, flowers and more at the St. Paul Farmers' Market as it makes its stop in IGH.
The Market visits from 3 to 7 p.m. each Thursday at the Veterans Memorial Community Center parking lot. 
There will also be entertainment during most market dates. Tonight's feature is an appearance by some of your favorite folks from the Inver Glen Library. 

Also today in Inver Grove, ladies can get a look under the hood. Seriously. 

The Inver Grove area’s voice for business, the River Heights Chamber of Commerce, is offering some “roadside assistance” just for the ladies.

The class, dubbed “Car Care Tips for Women” is set for 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at Heppner’s Auto Body, 6042 Claude Way East
Inver Grove Heights.

Have you ever been stuck on a busy road with a flat tire or perhaps engine problems?  What about car maintenance?  Do you know when it's time to change your oil, rotate tires, check air pressure?  How about when it's 30 below zero and your car needs a jump?  Just like your body, your car needs scheduled check ups and maintenance to stay healthy and dependable. Please join us at a lunch and learn to arm yourself with valuable skills and knowledge to keep your car running properly.
In addition, if you are in an accident, how do you go about getting your car fixed? Learn the importance of auto insurance and how it can cover auto body repair! Hear about the process of what happens to your car once you drop it off for those body shop repairs.
