Chamber EVENT Set for Sept. 28 at Wabasha Caves
The River Heights Chamber of Commerce is sharing a portion of all proceeds with the local Beyond the Yellow Ribbon chapters in Inver Grove and South St. Paul.

The is holding its 2nd Annual fundraising celebration, The EVENT, on Sept. 28, 2012, to celebrate freedom and free enterprise.
The EVENT will takeplace from 6-10 p.m. at the Wabasha Street Caves (215 Wabasha Street, South in Saint Paul).

The River Heights Chamber of Commerce is partnering once again with our local Beyond the Yellow Ribbon Communities (IGH and SSP) and a portion of the proceeds from fundraising initiatives will be shared to provide support and awareness for their initiatives.
Beyond the Yellow Ribbon is a comprehensive program that creates awareness for the purpose of connecting servicemembers and their families with community support, training, services and resources.

The River Heights Chamber of Commerce will be joined by members of the community, elected officials and our partners from our local Beyond the Yellow Ribbon communities as we celebrate freedom and free enterprise!
“Please join us in supporting the Beyond the Yellow Ribbon families and volunteers. It will be a great event, at a fun venue! Please come out and show your support,” said EVENT Task Force co-chairs Dody Sobaszkiewicz, Farmers Insurance, and Gail Sperlich, .
Admission to The EVENT is $40/person and includes heavy hors d'oeuvres and live entertainment from the band 8 Foot 4.
The evening’s festivities will recognize our servicemen and women from our local military posts, as well as a tribute to our elected officials for their public service.
“Our business members have overwhelmingly reached out to show support for our local servicemembers. The EVENT is a collective effort to raise funds that provide military families the resources they need. We are excited to build off of last year’s event at a great venue, with an awesome band and plenty of entertainment to have fun,” added Jennifer Gale, president of the River Heights Chamber of Commerce.
The EVENT will also feature a silent auction and raffle for a chance to win a $1000 cash prize. An RSVP is requested at www.riverheights.com or by calling 651-451-2266.
