Fourteen-time Convicted Felon Gets 8 Years After Pleading Guilty to New Charges

A review of David Allen Dahl's criminal history revealed more than 21 aliases and 14 prior felony convictions.

 

A 51-year-old South St. Paul man was sentenced Wednesday afternoon to 96 months (8 years) in prison after a Dakota County judge accepted his guilty plea to eight separate felony offenses. 

District Court Judge Shawn Moynihan also sentenced David Allen Dahl to four counts of 30 months each, but ran the sentences concurrent to his other charges.

Moynihan dismissed two misdemeanor theft charges in exchange for Dahl's guilty plea.

Inver Grove Heights police issued a  in connection with a string of crimes including vehicle theftsecond-degree burglarythird-degree burglary and terroristic threats spanning from March to December 2011.
