• Solstice Under the Stars (hometownsource.com) — Lake Elmo residents can celebrate the winter solstice at a free “Solstice Under the Stars” event on Thursday, Dec. 19, from 6–8 p.m. at the Nordic Center in Lake Elmo Park Reserve. Expect a guided night hike, bonfire with s’mores, indoor crafts, and reflection activities; only a Washington County park vehicle permit is required for entry.
