Blotter: Unpaid Cab Fare, Juvenile Refuses to Return Bike

Below is a selection of notable incidents responded to by the Wayzata Police Department between May 10 and May 14. Not intended to be a comprehensive log of activity.
Police responded to a May 14 report on the 1400 block of Wayzata Bouleveard East of a juvenile taking a bike belonging to another and refusing to return it. The bike was found and returned to its owner. No charges were pressed.
A taxi driver reported an unpaid fair of $30 May 12 on the 400 block of Willow Drive in Long Lake. The report was received just before 1 a.m.

About $6 in loose change was reported stolen from a vehicle parked on the 2000 block of Grand Avenue in Long Lake. The incident occurred just after 6 p.m. on May 11.
A table and two chairs were reported damaged in business' outdoor break area. Juveniles were seen "hanging out" in the area are suspected of causing the damage, estimated at approximately $100. The incident occurred May 10 on the 1800 block of Wayzata Boulevard West in Long Lake.
